It was such a wonderful climate, weather and cultural change to spend in Spain a long weekend. I had lived in this country five years before moving to Switzerland and I can not believe that since I moved I haven't visited one of my favorite part of this world. It was like going back in time listening to the familiar language, music from every corner of the street, eating such beautifully simple and tasty food and taking in this incredibly alive city. It still amazes me how easily we can get on a plane and within one hour find ourselves in a different country and the same night walk in the streets of a latin town. And there is a summer, town-squares and terraces full of happy people, an amber light evening, and cava, Spanish sparkling wine in La Vinya del Senyor at the Placa Santa Maria. It was so good to be a part of this vibrant night thanks to my beautiful Spanish friend Laura who organized this weekend for us.
