Winter started already but before all this white snow arrived there was a gorgeous October. One day we hiked in the rain to the Taney lake (1,500 m). We stayed at the small lodge for the night and the next morning the lake was emerald green in the sun. How good it is to open a window in the early morning and be enveloped by fresh, October air.
