After this very special moment when Christiane and Pedro took a stroll in this beautiful, peaceful, lush and verdant forest it was time to join all friends and family to celebrate, dance, laugh, drink champagne, hug and kiss. There was plenty of that all day and night.

It was a night to remember. We all gathered on Saturday, January 5, 2013, in Petropolis, in Pedro's mother gorgeous house surrounded by forest and green hills. There were maybe eighty of us, family and friends. Many of us never met before; the Brazilian friends of Pedro and "foreigner" friends of Christiane. But a lime caipirinha and a glass of champagne took away all the shyness and we all danced and laughed (some of you swam in the pool, myself involuntarily) and we all had a fabulous time. Thank you Christiane and Pedro for this amazing night, we have to do this again!
