With Deva and Dimitri with spent two days camping at the Poe beach. It is a vast, beautiful lagoon with an intact coral reef and plenty of marine life. The reef system in New Caledonia is one of the largest in the world and covers over 23,000 km2. I did some snorkeling in the morning, the boat took us to the reef, water was the most clear and transparent and the coral looked very healthy. Very grateful I can still see a coral in this condition and hopefullyy it will last like this forever (coral bleaching is a common occurrence around the world due to the environmental changes).
