Copacabana

This early morning packed a bottle of water, took a camera and went for a walk along Copacabana beach. The world famous 4 km long beautiful stretch of sand is not only that but also lively back streets have plenty to explore. How you can not love this place, a mix of ritzy hotels, behind which you find local markets, old-school beer bars, shady squares for a rest from the sun and all this enveloped in a slightly edgy vibe. I came across a local fresh produce market where I found abundance of wonderful fruits and vegetables in every shade of yellow, orange and green. I bought strawberries, mangoes and lychees, I do not even remember when I have tasted such divine sweet strawberries. I devoured all this fruits' sweetness whitin a few minutes and tomorrow I am on a hunt for such local market closer to the apartment where we are staying.
